Revalations

The second half of my Bible commision. As Adam and Eve represent the beggining, this scene represents the end. After 9.6 hours of work I decided to leave the background out and leave the forward characters alone in this scene due to the high amount of detail in this drawing. The is easily the longest and most detailed piece I've ever done and I wish I knew a good inkist and colorist who could do this thing some justice. Jesus with his bloody sword takes center stage with the seven trumpet playing angels and the horsemen themselves in the background. I chose a more teched out version of War combined with the arcane to show the span of the art, Famine is skinny and dry, Death is folded in robes and rides a rotting steed, and Pestilence I admit is a little plain compared to the rest but I think it made him stand out in his own right. Overall I think it came out well and I'm looking forward to my next commision which is a battle scene set in classic Greek mythology. Wish me luck!
